Sad news about Dave Tottman

The Medway Madness would like to send their thoughts to the family of Dave Tottman, who passed away today.

Dave was a regular feature in ice hockey games around the South East frequently taking control of rec games as well as senior league games.

He was a great example of how an official should be - knowledgeable and approachable, he had time for everyone on the ice and enjoyed a chat in the bar after.

A big character that will be sorely missed from the sport.

Re: Sad news about Dave Tottman

Are there plans for a minutes silence before the game on Saturday, in remembrance?

Re: Sad news about Dave Tottman

I would like to hold a minutes silence before the game on Saturday, as best we can organise without a DJ.

I did not know Dave personally, but as he was part of the hockey world and was a brilliant official from what i saw, always done an awesome job, a mins silence on saturday before the game would be an awesome idea...
